RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Are you an Unbaptized person over the age of seven? Are you a Baptized Christian wishing to join the Catholic Church? Are you a Baptized Catholic adult seeking to return to the church and receive First Eucharist and/or Confirmation? Then we invite you to inquire about our parish Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Details:   Adult Inquirers meet twice a month on Sunday mornings from 9-10am in room CR1, the room closest to the church AND one Sunday evening a month from 6:30-8:30pm in the main Parish hall. Inquirers are invited to join at any time by contacting Father Paul Trinh, by phone (949) 854-1000 ext 222 or email. Child Inquirers entering second grade through high school will need to make an appointment with your parent or guardian and speak directly to Father Paul Trinh.

Resources for Your Faith Journey

For those Unbaptized and those Baptized Christian

Normally, preparation for an unbaptized person is at least a year, but may be longer.  For those baptized in other Christian churches or baptized Catholics who wish to receive Confirmation and Eucharist, the preparation time will vary.  Catholic adults seeking to complete initiation by receiving Confirmation may also join this group. Formation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is:

• Communal—a group process
• Scriptural–using the Sunday Mass readings
• Liturgical—rites, blessings, sacraments
• Charitable—formation for a life of giving and service
• Oriented—towards conversion and growth
