Members of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton community are active in many dimensions of parish life. The staff relies on the work of volunteers to administer the work of the parish effectively and smoothly. Chief among these groups are the parish Pastoral Council and Finance Council, whose dedicated and thoughtful input is a source of support and advice to the pastor in his role of leading the parish and being a good steward of the many resources we have.
Services to those in need are provided by a variety of groups, most notably the SEAS conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Legion of Mary, the Knights of Columbus, and numerous small ad hoc groups that emerge in response to arising needs. A long tradition has been the parish annual "Adopt-a-Family" Christmas activity that provides food and gifts for needy families in our area.
There are also groups whose primary focus is prayer and spiritual life, notably: the Legion of Mary, the Secular Franciscans, a number of Scripture study groups, and many individuals and small groups who meet for prayer on a regular or occasional basis.
